Companies Hilariously Roasting People On Social Media — The Best We’ve Seen

Companies Hilariously Roasting People On Social Media

For a while, I’ve noticed that Wendy’s and PornHub are known for being really good at teasing people online.

But recently, I found out that other brands are just as good at it, especially on X (formerly Twitter).

I think the people who run these social media accounts deserve a raise because they’re so good at giving the proper roast punchlines on several occasions.

In this article, I’ll share some of the funniest teasing comments that famous brands have made online at people.

Some of them might need a bit of explaining for you to get the joke, but I’ll give you a quick background for each one.

List of the Best Roasts From Companies to Netizens

According to HubSpot reports, 66% of social media marketers say funny content is the most effective, followed by relatable content (63%) and trendy content (59%).

That’s why some brands are always ready to join in when people online try to pick a fight with them.

In the end, we all enjoy a good laugh. So even though these companies might seem harsh with their comebacks, it’s all for fun.

Here are some of the funniest ones I’ve come across:

1. When you’re qualified for a role at Wendy’s

The Wendy’s mascot isn’t actually a natural redhead. That’s just the blood of everyone their social media team has roasted!

And if you’re asking why they announced changing their name to Meat? Just know that your asking is part of their plan, too.

2. We Found the Worst Rob

Ryanair is trying to tell us that after searching through millions of Robs in the world… We finally found the worst one.

But I beg to disagree. The worst Rob ever has to be the Robber.

3. What You Get For Telling Wendy’s Their Posts Unsolicited

Homie didn’t just get roasted; he got flame-grilled.

In my opinion, saying “who asked” is only justified when someone is being unnecessarily critical.

Using “who asked” on Twitter, a platform for posting whatever you want, is pretty silly.

If there’s one lesson I’ve learned, it’s to not mess with Wendy’s social media.

4. MKBHD just got obliterated by Dbrand

MKBHD, a well-known tech YouTuber, is promoting Dbrand, a company that sells phone skins, in this tweet. Dbrand’s Twitter persona is known for being edgy and bold, so they’re just playing along by slamming him.

I don’t mind corporations trying to be funny on X, but often, Dbrand seems like they’re trying too hard, and sometimes they come off as offensive.

5. Tesco Mobile Attacks Insecure man

6. Wendy on the square or circle hamburgers issue

Wendy’s gives the kind of reply you’d want to read in such a sarcastic tone while rolling your eyes

Unto the matter itself, I’ve always wondered, do the square burgers lower prep time and labor costs?

7. GameStop couldn’t hold it back

This is the kind of roast you see, and all you want to do is call the ICU because it’s a fourth-degree burn.

This dude will probably need a whole bucket of ice to recover.

8. Staples Went after Kris Jenner’s Necklace

This is what happens when you try to appear classy with paper clips and fail.

That necklace practically begs to be made fun of. It’s probably a Kardashian joke, like, “Let’s see how many people I can trick into wearing a paperclip necklace.”

9.  Microsoft had it coming

10. Poor Conan

Conan got roasted with that Barbarian burn!

I’m okay with Netflix having a lot of content, but it’s frustrating when they don’t have all the seasons of a show in one place or cancel good shows while keeping the trashy ones.

Lesson learned: Sometimes, it’s best to keep those insults to yourself.

11. Samsung saying more with less

So Samsungs response here was initially said by comedian Stewart Francis.

And with that knowledge, I just know the social media manager at the time didn’t come up with that joke on the fly.

12. Maybe it did, and that’s why she’s typing, not talking

It seems like they’re implying that Zach really did taste glue (otherwise, how would he know what glue tastes like?)

That’s exactly how I interpreted it when I first read it. Like, “This tastes awful! And how would you know what awful tastes like?”

Wrapping Up

We’ve looked at some hilarious comebacks from major brands on social media.

After seeing these, you might think twice before starting something negative with these brands online.

There are plenty more instances of brands teasing people online, and I’m sure I haven’t covered them all.

So, which of these 15 funny brands on social media do you like the most? Feel free to share others in the comments too!
